crafted and cultivated in Gion.

A style of yakitori,

Savor the essence, illuminate the seasons.

Nurtured in Gion over twenty years.
Reflecting the aesthetic,
skewer by skewer.

Kyoto enjoys a time-honored heritage of kashiwa (chicken) cuisine.
The simplicity of yakitori reveals the quality of ingredients and mastery of the craft.
Made with select local chicken grilled to perfection, our expression of Gion hospitality takes the form of a full-course yakitori dinner that evolves through the seasons.

From vibrant counter seats to relaxing private rooms.
Elegant spaces to suit any occasion.

Facing Hanamikoji Street, the renovated traditional machiya features a lively counter on the first floor, where guests can watch their meals take shape while conversing with our team. The private rooms on the second floor accommodate 4, 6, or 8 guests and are ideal for business dinners, celebrations, and family meals.

Ishiyaki Oyakodon (Stone-Grilled Chicken & Egg Rice Bowl)

Served with Seasonal Soup & Pickles

Tax incl. 2,180 yen

A luxurious Oyakodon made with charcoal-grilled aromatic chicken thigh and three rich, flavorful Kyoto-raised eggs. Enjoy this unique style of Oyakodon, dynamically mixed right in a piping-hot stone bowl, served as a set with our seasonal soup.
We use Daisen Herb Chicken, raised in the rich nature of Mount Daisen, Tottori. Fed with herbs (oregano), the chicken has virtually no gamey odor, offering a rich, sweet flavor and perfectly firm texture. Precise cooking ensures a satisfying chew and delightful springiness.
The eggs used are Kyoto's "Noko" eggs, distinguished by their vibrant orange yolks, delivering deep richness and intense umami from the very first bite. It is a highly popular dish where you can enjoy fluffy, soft-cooked eggs and crispy rice crust (okoge) all at once.
